Problem Printing Panel
Aug 7, 2004 6:42 AM

Hi,

I wrote a small GUI app that draws some graphics to a JPanel. I need to allow the user to be able to print whatever is drawn on the panel, but the graphics are too large to fit on one page. Can someone tell me what classes in javax.print I'll need to use to scale the printed images (preferably without introducing any distortions) so they will fit on one page? Can this even be done?

thanks,
Eric

There is a setSize method here: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/awt/Component.html

I did a little search on this site, and the above was really all I found...

I haven't really tried to do anything like that so I'm not sure if it will help here or not, but it is worth looking into I think.
