Avoiding a temp file with piped streams?
Aug 6, 2004 1:10 PM

I'm trying to read a tiff file from one datasource, convert it to a pdf, and upload it to a different datasource without using a temporary file. I can make it work with a temporary file, but I've not been able to make it work with piped streams. My basic need is to convert an OutputStream from the pdf writer to an input stream for the secondary datasource. I believe that using threads and pipedstreams can help me out, but I've not found anythign that really addresses my problem online. Any help would be greatly appriciated.
