Create a String from the InputStream of a web page?
Jul 25, 2004 12:01 PM

I want to read in a web page and extract out some data from the whole stream using regular expression.
The way I'm doing is to use BufferedReader br.readLine() and append it to the end of the StringBuffer object until the end of the input stream.
Is there any better way than doing this?
I mean, can we just read in the whole page without using append() in StringBuffer?

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

I'm not sure, but I don't think you can read the whole page without a loop (unless it is a very small page)
