Import
Jul 14, 2004 9:11 PM

Hi,
We are developing a download client for which we are using "HTTPClient" to make HTTP connections.
We use a hierarchical package structure. In that, inside a package,there is HTTPClass that imports HTTPClient.HTTPClinet is inside that folder itself.

But importing is not taking place and the error is
import HTTPClient cannot be resolved.

we are using eclipse to run.

Plz suggest me a solution.
Thank you

Are you sure you are compiling HTTPClient.java before you compile HTTPClass ?

Are you sure the location of HTTPClient.class is included in your CLASSPATH ?

The above two should solve u'r problem!

What version jdk are using? If HTTPClient and HTTPClass is inside the same package then you don't need an import statement. In fact jdk 1.4+ won't allow it.
