Applet caching of jars
Jul 2, 2004 2:07 AM

I have three jars ..

A.jar
B.jar
C.jar

A.jar runs in A.html
B.jar runs in B.html

C.jar is used by both

A.html is loaded hence A.jar and C.jar are loaded into the cache

B.html is loaded .. will it pick up C.jar from the cache?

Another question .. what code does A.html and B.html use to load C.jar?

Thanks a million .. 5 duke dollars attached,

if the URLs are the same, it should be. But if the server gives no-cache headers for the jar files, it shouldn't cache them at all (or if the user disables caching)
