Any suggestion for a good code profiling tool?
Jun 14, 2004 1:15 PM

Hi,
I am wondering whether someone suggest a good profiling tool to find the memory leaks, performance bottlenecks etc.
We are working on a java app that runs on embedded platform. We are using JDK 1.1.8 on the embedded. But lot of our code runs on PC for simulation purpose. If there is tool that can instrument the class files and run on the embedded platform and tell us memory leaks, bottlenecks etc, that would be cool. Otherwise whatever bottlenecks it shows are for Intel platform with sun JVM.

I appreciate ur help.

Thanks
Puri

JProbe and OptimizeIt are two good commercial profiling tools.
