I'm in the Boulder/Longmont area. I actually know nothing about H1B sponsorship, sorry I can't help you there. IBM is a huge tech employer in this area, though, you might try them. As far as jobs generally, they are out there - I just changed jobs this year and there were a significant number of openings in Colorado. Like I said, I don't know anything about the visas (that's what H1B is, right?).

Thats were your wrong. See a computer does your
work, thats what they do. They allow complex problems
and tasks to be done almost instantly.

Obviously someone who has never actually done any work on a computer.

Yep, H1B = Visa : ... Boulder, nice area. I'm a big fan of Colorado. I spent some time there last year, up in Steamboat Springs, Rabbit Ears Pass, Copper Mountain (can you guess what I was doing, lol).

The only large employer I could locate (obviously I'm no good at research) was lockheed martin, and for most positions they need security clearance. Doh!

Yeah, there are LOTS of tech jobs at military contractors here. Anyone with a security clearance (or can get one) who knows C++ is set. I hope you got some good snow while you were here.

keep it up marland, although be a bit more diverse,
calling every1 gay gets boring after a while. And
you
wouldn't want everyone to think you were a homophobe
now would we? you f ucking gay homphobe.

yeh im working on the whole diversity thing, im
getting better. But as much as i try i still get a gay
vibe whenever i read the reply posts. Makes me feel
quite sick really. And i only use the word gay a
couple of times, my friends who post there incredible
witty replies turn to things like "anal poundings" and
"corrections officers" etc it gets quite concerning.
As does the amount of reference to my age, they all
seem to assume, with excitment that im a young lad,
more prey i guess.

Actually we were hoping that you were young because young teenagers often display a certain amount of arrogance along with poor language usage which is peppered with obscenities and slang.

Normal adults grow out of that.

There are of course the abnormal ones that never do figure out how to become an adult that others can like not to mention respect.

So we being kind by giving you the benifit of the doubt.

Seems we were wrong.

and as for the homophobe bit..... we know i hate fagg
ot java nerd like yourself so call it what you want. I
dont consider my self a homophobe i consider myself
wanting to rid this earth of computer nerd scum. If
you think about it without computers the world would
not nearly be as f ucked as it is.

Yes, it would be so much easier to feed the hungry of the world without the automated distribution systems.

Not to mention that medical research would proceed at a much quicker rate without analysis, etc equipement.

And of course paying for the above is much easier when one gets on a plane with a bag of money rather than using those silly electronic payment systems.

Not really, it was right at the beginning of November, but there was enough to fool around in and demonstrate my prowess (believe it if you dare).

I was working out in Arvada for a couple of months about four years ago too, but that was during the summer so no skiing then.

I got "offered" a pos in Feb, but unfortunately when enquiries began into visas they were all used up already! In February!! can you believe that.

Now I'm waiting for October, and I have an open offer from a co in Oregon (in Bend, at the foot of the Cascades), but I really want to live in Colorado :o(

Can't handle your own business, Nancy?

Why would i do when my fully sick cousins will.

Because you are a small cowering shell of an individual who is only allowed out of the house by his mother when accompanied by someone who can take care of her "poor baby"?

At least that would be my guess.

Ah, well, this was fun at first, but now it's just gotten pathetic. Marland's focus on coolness as the be-all end-all and his utter lack of understanding of anything real in life makes even poking fun at him rather pointless. It may be just the ignorance of youth, which is curable, or he may be utterly stupid, which is generally a lifelong affliction.

I think I finaly figured him out though. He's not the jock I originally thought he was. He's a nerd wannabe. He looks, acts, and smells like the cookie cutter Hollywood nerds he makes us out to be (Anthony Michael Hall in 16 Candles or Breakfast Club), but he's got the brains of, say, Ogre in Revenge of the Nerds. The cheerleaders beat him up while the jocks and geeks laugh. Poor guy. I could almost shed a tear for him if he wasn't such a first class *******.

Anyway, I have a lot of work to do. (Marland, contrary to what you seem to think, computers don't just magically do everything all by themselves. Somebody has to tell them what to do and how to do it.)

Good luck in life, Marland. It seems you'll need it.

Oh, and I forgot the DMX and Fifty Cent CDs he plays
so loud that people 3 blocks away can hear him.

Sounds like the opening of Office Space, where the Bill Gates lookalike dweeb is crankin' the tunes from the hood.

Well, if Bend is on the east side of the Cascades (I can't remember at the moment) then that would bear some similarity to Colorado. Except for the skiing of course. Our resorts don't generally have to worry about the snow getting rained on. :-)

Indeed, Bend is on the East side of the Cascades, and they boast 340 days sunshine a year (though admittedly it cna rain and still be sunny).

So, anyone employers from Colorado, out there reading this thread, looking for a dynamic all round Win 32 programmer, and willing to provide H1B visa sponsorship, I'm your man. .. C++, Java, C#, D/COM/+, (dare I say VB), web stuff (servlets, jsp, asp, aspx, soap, WML, SVG), XML, XSL, blah blah blah

see what a shameless flirt I am :o)
